Karl Burk (Prosthetist) and Dave Tanner (Lab. Tech.) demonstrated how a check socket is made in the Troy office lab at the February 27th A.C.T.I.O.N. Support Group Meeting.  All of those in attendance went back to the lab and watched Karl and Dave make a check socket for one of our new patients who also attended this meeting!  Everyone had many questions in which Karl and Dave were happy to answer.   The A.C.T.I.O.N. members thoroughly enjoyed watching the process of making a check socket.  We will be sure to have Karl and Dave do this demonstration again this Fall!

A.C.T.I.O.N.  (Amputees Coming Together Informing others’ Needs) meets every 4th Monday of the month at the Troy Action Prosthetics’ Office from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
