Karl Burk (Action Prosthetics’ Prosthetist- right) and Dave Tanner (Our Lab. Tech.- left) took us into their world in the Action Prosthetics’ lab and demonstrated how a check socket was made for a patient on February 26th! They took many questions about the process of making sockets as well as how they make other prosthetic componentry from those in attendance. We had several children at this meeting and they were amazed to see how a prosthetic socket is made. It was a great hands-on experience for all!
