Reggie Swickard (C-PED), Owner of Foot Focus spoke to our amputee group about Shoe Inserts – Why and How They are Made on September 23rd. With the aid of a skeletal foot, Reggie showed how a foot insert can help certain foot issues and relieve pain for a patient. She also brought examples of foot inserts she has made. Reggie explained the process of making a foot insert that is custom to each patient’s foot. Everyone left with many new tips on how to care for their feet / sound foot.
