A.C.T.I.O.N. Amputee Group held their monthly meeting on November 13th at StoryPoint in Troy. We were thrilled to have Troy Snyder from Darke County Handgun Training as our FIRST speaker since January of 2020! Troy spoke to our group about awareness in public, safety in and around our homes and self-defense strategies as persons with a disability. Our members learned invaluable safety tips.
Troy Snyder is the CEO and Instructor of Darke County Handgun Training. He is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, NRA Certified Rifle Instructor, and NRA Home Firearms Safety Instructor. He is also a United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) certified instructor. He has attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and serves as a federal officer.
