Our sweet patient, Melendy Selanders, was so pleased with how her first prosthetic socket turned out. She brought in a patriotic fabric and Karl Burk (Our Prosthetist) fabricated a custom layover on her below knee socket. Karl truly enjoys helping our patient’s make their prosthesis custom their personality.
Melendy was so pleased with her prosthesis and she is doing great walking as a new amputee; she took right to it! We’re so proud of her positivity and her efforts to get back to life after limb loss!
