Pam Klatte is a below the knee amputee from a car accident that happened on I-75 just south of Macon, Georgia on April 5, 2014. She switched to Action Prosthetics last summer because our Troy office is less than a mile from her home.
Karl made Pam a water leg to use in the shower and when she goes swimming. Pam said, “Everyone (at Action Prosthetics) is so positive and kind. Karl is a perfectionist when it comes to my leg. That is so important.” She loves that she can, once again, stand in the shower and get in and out of a swimming pool.
Pam has not let limb loss slow her down. After her accident, she happily returned to her job as an Administrative Assistant for Troy City Schools. She has worked for the school 28 years! Pam loves to use her swim leg in her pool where she entertains all summer long with friends and family. She also loves to cook and play her piano.
Pam has seen many benefits from coming to Action Prosthetics. She loves that our office is close to her home. She also said that, “whatever Karl does (for me/my prosthesis) will be a perfect fit.” Pam likes that Molly (Null…our Patient Liaison) is a double leg amputee and can give her tips and advice when something comes up. Pam (Aukerman…our Office Manager) is a family friend which is a special bonus for Pam.
When asked if Pam would recommend Action Prosthetics, she said, “Yes. For three reasons…Service, Service, Service!”
The staff at Action Prosthetics thoroughly enjoys working with Pam. They enjoy seeing her do the things in life she enjoys as an amputee. Pam is a true inspiration to us all!
