Our Action Prosthetics’ staff is so proud of our Patient / Business Owner, Jim Heatherly! Jim became a below knee amputee In December 0f 2011 from Factor V Leiden (FAK-tur five LIDE-n) which is a mutation of one of the clotting factors in the blood. This mutation can increase your chance of developing abnormal blood clots, most commonly in your legs or lungs. This is a hereditary disease.
Jim owns Heatherly Lawn and Property Management. He and his crew of hard-working young men recently completed a landscaping project for our Patient Liaison, Molly Null. As you can see, they did a fantastic job!
Jim is a perfect example of a person who has NOT let limb loss stop him from living his life. He is always on the GO! He will celebrate his 28th wedding anniversary with Joellen in October. They have 2 grown children, Claire and Grant.
