A.C.T.I.O.N. Amputee Group met for their regular meeting on Monday, May 13th at Story Point in Troy. (A.C.T.I.O.N. meets every 2nd Monday/Month at 5:00pm)
We had a very special speaker… Pam Aukerman, Action Prosthetics’ Office Manager. She spoke to the group about navigating their insurance as persons with limb loss. Pam had many helpful ideas on how to go about trying to get prosthetic components approved by insurance companies. With Pam’s 30+ years working in doctor’s offices, we were very grateful for her insights and knowledge!
