Our very determined patient, Tim Painter, recently asked our Prosthetist (Karl Burk) to add flames as socket art to his new prosthetic legs. Karl truly enjoys adding artwork to a patient’s prosthesis.
Tim is a double above-the-knee amputee from diabetes complications. He is working very hard to learn to walk on foreshortened prosthetic legs (or “stubbies” as some in the industry call them). He comes into our office several times a week to practice walking in our parallel bars.
We love Tim’s flames and we are so proud of him!
