Amputees Coming Together Informing Others’ Needs!
A.C.T.I.O.N. Amputee Group held a Pie & Ice Cream Social meeting last Monday, June 27th! This special meeting was held at our faithful member’s home; thank you Bonnie for hosting the group! We had perfect weather to hold this event outside and the support and laughter were overflowing!
Molly, Group Leader, also gave away some of her socket planter hanging baskets to some lucky members. Molly so enjoys repurposing old prosthetic sockets into the hanging baskets and giving them away!
We would like to also thank Mrs. Wick’s Pies in Winchester, Indiana for donating 6 pies for our special meeting! Many thanks as well to the members who brought additional pies and ice cream toppings. We had so much to eat that every member got to take plenty home to enjoy!
Our A.C.T.I.O.N. Pie and Ice Cream Social was truly a special and delicious event!
