A.C.T.I.O.N. (Amputees Coming Together Informing Others’ Needs) Amputee Group held its 4th Annual Family Picnic at WACO Air Field-Museum’s shelter house on Monday September 12th! Around 60 members were in attendance. Lots of delicious food was enjoyed thanks to everyone who brought something. The group never disappoints when it comes to food! Karl Burk, Owner/Prosthetist, at Action Prosthetics was our Grill Master once again!
Many great prizes were given away THANKS to the following prosthetic component suppliers: Blatchford, College Park, Ottobock and Proteor USA. Our company representatives were so generous in donating some amazing company SWAG to give away!
Most importantly, there were lots of fellowship, laughter and support shared at the picnic.
We hope you will join your A.C.T.I.O.N. Amputee friends at their next meeting: Monday, October 24th at 6:00pm at Marion’s Piazza in Troy, Ohio. A.C.T.I.O.N. meets every 4th Monday of the month.
